I’m new to Micro.blog. I knew they were devoted to the open web, but I thought it was simply a hosting solution. I didn’t realize that it was also a social network or how it connects to the Fediverse. The more I explore, the more this place feels like the early internet—in the best way. I may never get the hang of using emojis as surrogate hashtags, but I do appreciate being able to filter Discovery that way. Anyway, glad to be here.📚
